Adelaidis Saint-Yves
Adelaidis sorely wishes she had not opened that bottle of wine that awakened her dormant psychopomp powers, and yet, she does not have the ability to go back in time.
Biography
Adelaidis Saint-Yves has never suffered fools gladly, and with her boss Aleaume of a similar mind, she is perfectly content in her work, as long as she gets to offhand some of the items she finds at the crime scenes to sellers in the Wishbone Market. Her scant patience for mischief and trouble sees her quite at odds with her long-dead relative, and now royal pain in her backside, Simonnet Beaulieu who, after tracking down his last surviving relative with the help of her other ancestors, has grand plans to keep manipulating Wraithveil from beyond the grave. Adelaidis wishes he would choose someone else, but knows that the chance of that is as likely as her finding her mother alive and well.

Adelaidis finds Simonnet Beaulieu uniquely annoying, and he finds in her an unending source of entertainment.
Appearance
Complexion:
Her skin has a gradient to it, starting from a light purple-gray on her face to light green-blue on her feet, a colour which shifts the more you look at her.
Facial features:
Her chubby face is generally flushed from overexertion, or annoyance, and her small, dull green eyes seem to be typically screwed up in annoyance. A lifetime of manual labour has left wrinkles and crow's feet all over her face.
Hair:
She ties her long greying yet dull blue hair out of her face during work, and often contemplates cutting it all off when it comes time to wash it, which is often, owing to her job.
Body:
She is large and round, resembling a dumpling of sorts. Her tail is covered in spines, which makes her look a little more intimidating than she otherwise would.
She tends to wear her uniform, which confusingly, is white and grey, although the white has also turned grey from how often she has to wash it. When she isn't wearing that, she's usually wearing simply a bathrobe, which she prefers greatly when sitting at home.
