Simonnet Beaulieu
Simonnet revels in the chaos brought about by the downfall of tyrant queen Elaria, and sets his sights on bigger goals when he is elected to the Paddingknoll.
Biography
Perceived by most of the Paddingknoll to be a bit of a brownnoser, but ultimately harmless, Simonnet Beaulieu aids the Paddingknoll by doing the council's dirty work that is best suited to a magic user. However, this perception suits Simonnet greatly, allowing him to use the council's underestimation of him to carry out his own plans, with consequences far greater than even the most suspicious of his fellow councilmembers have ever suspected of him. The only dragon that seems to see through Simonnet's unrelenting grovelling is Guillot, however his own perception by the Paddingknoll as an archaic and rambling grouch only good for matters of combat, has disadvantaged him to such an extent that no one takes his warnings about Simonnet seriously.
Relationships
Mogge Auclair is Simonnet's lover, and occasional friend and gossiping partner. Their understanding is simple, Simonnet doesn't talk about politics, and Mogge doesn't talk about Guillot.
Simonnet relies on Annes Lavaud to be his eyes and ears in the citadel, especially in places where it would be suspicious for him to be. He's really just using her, but she doesn't seem to realise.
Guillot Barbeau is Simonnet's number one nemesis and royal pain in his backside. However, while he views their verbal sparring as good practice to see if his end plans can stay hidden from everyone, Guillot just wants his head on a pike.
Appearance
Complexion:
His skin is light brown with dark brown patches, giving him an uncanny resemblance to a jaguar, and with the way that he prowls around the citadel on the hunt for information, it seems a fair enough comparison.
Facial features:
His eyes are dark purple, slightly slanted, and seem to be perpetually squinting, due to his constant laboring over books in dark rooms. He looks upon the day that his eyesight will be bad enough to require glasses with trepidation, but sometimes wears a cheap pair at night, after a long day of work.
Hair:
He has shoulder length dark grey-purple hair that is often pulled back in a short ponytail, with a thick braid dangling on either side of his head.
Body:
A dragon of short stature, Simonnet stands at roughly 5'3". He is of average build. He has a long and skinny, but twitchy tail.
He generally wears simpler tunics and pants, with complex jewellery during the day that jingles as he moves. However, some suspect that he charms the jewellery to be quiet on his command, considering that he is still fully capable of sneaking up on people.

Hobbies:
Talking to the spirits and staying up late at night laughing maniacally at something or another that they said. He also enjoys embroidery.
