Einilda Auberjonois
When Einilda was given the chance to train under the acclaimed wizard of the Paddingknoll, she took the opportunity with both paws. Little did she know how much politics would be a feature in her training.
Biography
"Loud." States Simonnet. "Loud." Agrees Annes. "Scatterbrained." Hisses Simonnet. "Scatterbrained." Concedes Annes. But in truth, Simonnet and Annes could not be further divided on their opinion of Einilda Auberjonois. While Annes might indeed be surreptitiously mining Einilda for information, and Simonnet only working with her in a professional capacity, Annes is also friends with Einilda, and enjoys spending time with the overly enthusiastic and naive skydancer. Ultimately though, she knows that when the chips come down, she will stand by Simonnet, and her decision to betray Einilda's confidence, a fact that she thinks about as little as possible. Meanwhile, Einilda continues to study hard under Simonnet, blissfully unaware of his dislike of her. She has no interest in the politics of the citadel, only glad to have the opportunity after queen Elaria's execution to join the Paddingknoll as an assistant and study magic with Simonnet.
Relationships
Annes Lavaud views Einilda with fond exasperation but very much cares about her as a friend. However, when it comes down to it, she is willing to betray her friend to further Simonnet's mission, a fact she doesn't often dwell on.
Simonnet Beaulieu sees Einilda as a nuisance, a necessity only so that the Paddingknoll thinks that he is the cooperative sort. She is completely in the dark regarding his plans, and he likes it that way. He does not however, like how she appears to enjoy being around him and has such enthusiasm for her studies.
Appearance
Complexion:
She has rich, dark blue-brown skin.
Facial features:
She has a scar bisecting her right eyebrow, and her teeth are sharp, and slightly crooked, with one of them missing, which is evident when she smiles with her teeth, as she so often does. Her electric blue eyes are brightest when talking animatedly with Annes or learning from Simonnet, but dullest in council meetings - or to her, arguments.
Hair:
Einilda has a buzzcut, and a light dusting of caramel coloured hair stands out starkly against her dark skin.
Body:
She tends to be very clumsy and often runs in the corridors of the citadel, and can be heard skittering around corners and trying to stop herself before she slams into a door. Her tail is long and ends in an orange tuft similar to her hair colour, however it doesn't reach the ground due her lanky 6'0" frame.
She likes to wear simple healer's robes with long sleeves that often get tangled in the potions she creates.
