Ferricus Lievremont
Ferricus was hesitant about becoming a dad, but now if you asked him what his job was he would say dad proudly, having half forgotten that he's also a diplomat on the Paddingknoll's behalf.
Biography
Following the war, Ferricus Lievremont hung up his armor and went deliberately in search of the most normal and boring bureaucratic job he could think of - diplomacy. With his knowledge of the Beastclans' ways - having been the one to entreat them for help defeating the dead queen - Ferricus was an easy choice for the information starved Paddingknoll. However, he soon found himself unable to say no when dragons from Ichorstain and the Paddingknoll began asking him to take items from one location to another - items that were often illegal or would be seized. But it paid the bills easily, and so Ferricus has been happy to carry this on, as long as Helewis is never caught up in it.
Relationships
Simonnet Beaulieu having given Ferricus his child and light of his life is only one of the reasons why he likes the fae so much, despite Guillot's hatred of him and Simonnet's own sliminess.
Helewis Cordonnier is Ferricus' main source of happiness, and he would swear that the world got ten shades brighter after he adopted her.
Appearance
Complexion:
Dappled green skin is splashed with yellow birthmarks that look remarkably like paint splatter.
Facial features:
His dark blue eyes are often fixed adoringly on his young charge, who is regularly getting into all sorts of scrapes. With a scar crossing his left eye and part of his right ear missing - both from the war - Ferricus looks unapproachable, and like a brute. However, those that know him, especially following his unconventional adoption of his daughter Helewis, know that he's more like a teddy bear, but can find it hard to express his love in words, often crying instead.
Hair:
His forest green hair is buzzed short, though it is rather coily when it is longer.
Body:
Roughly 4'11", Ferricus is short, fat and sturdy, perfect for his little girl to barrel up to him with hugs without knocking him over. His tail is long and mottled green.
He tends to wear dark tunics and pants, but is generally armed to his teeth when he engages with his smuggling clients.
